So poignant. Indeed, we often seek security in things that are so temporal(money,self-interest,status,branded goods etc) but they DO NOT define who really are. It's in learning daily to rest secure in GOD's unconditional love and let that love flow out to the people around us. To bring out the best in other people, to appreciate the people around us. This world, will be a better place as we share the beauty of Christ, and seek to serve, just as HE did...
